

School Board
Daniel is Chair of The Knox School Limited. He was Chair of Taylors College from 1976 to 1998 and is currently a Director of The CASS Foundation Limited, The University of Sydney Foundation Program Ltd and a number of private companies.
Daniel has been a practising Solicitor since 1968, has worked for and at Universities, and was for 10 years a member of the Victorian Anti-Discrimination Tribunal.
Robert was appointed as the Managing Director of Taylors College in 1975 and was the Chief Executive Officer of Taylors College until his retirement from that position at the end of 2000. Robert is a Director of The Knox School Limited, The CASS Foundation Limited, Taylors on A’Beckett Pty Ltd and 3DR Pty Ltd. He was also Chair of Knoxfield College council for many years.
David has been a member of the Board for many years and has been actively involved in the Education Sector as a director of Taylors Schools, Study Group International, Ruyton Girls School and as Chair of the Council at Ormond College, The University of Melbourne.
He is currently a director of The CASS Foundation Limited, a member of several advisory Boards in the building sector and Chairman of four syndicates of Chief Executive Officers. He was formerly Chairman of Sirius Telecommunications Limited, Chairman of the Australian Health Service Alliance Limited, Thirteenth Beach Golf Links Limited, The Liberty Group (County Court of Victoria), and Deputy Chair of Generation Victoria. He was the Facilitator on the Melbourne City Link Project, the Probity Adviser for the Melbourne Cricket Ground redevelopment, Due Diligence Adviser to the Vice Chancellor at The Melbourne University and Commissioner investigating governance at Nillimbuk Council.
He is a lawyer and was formerly Managing Partner at a city legal firm.
Peter is a founding shareholder and director of PhillipsKPA Pty Ltd. Prior to this role he was Principal Advisor to the Education Industry Practice of KPMG Consulting (Australia).
Peter has enjoyed a formidable career in education and government services. Prior to joining KPMG, he was the General Manager of Monash University for 15 years, overseeing many of Monash’s financial, international and commercial initiatives.
Before joining the higher education sector, Peter held various senior
state government positions including: deputy Head of the Treasury of
Victoria (1978 – 1982) and Deputy Director-General (Finance) of Transport
(1982 – 1985).
Peter is the Chair of Open Universities Australia, a director of Medibank Private Ltd and the CASS Foundation Ltd.
Ted is a General Manager in a national Management Consulting Company. He has a focus on identifying and securing new consulting business opportunities across a diverse range of key market sectors including Federal, State and Local Government, the Water Industry, Education and Universities, Health and Commercial organisations. Ted is also responsible for managing the client relationship focus in this Company. His background also covers some 10 years Executive Management roles in the IT industry through software development companies providing Information Management software, total IT solutions and other strategic software particularly to Government authorities in Australia and New Zealand.
Ted's first contact with The Knox School was in 1997 when his son and daughter commenced in Years 7 and 5 respectively. In 2000 Ted joined the School Council and was Chair of the School Council from 2003 to 2007. Ted commenced as member of the Board in August 2007.
Genia Janover has recently retired from her 20 year position as Principal of Bialik college. She is one of Australia’s outstanding educational leaders, driven by her passion for educating children and maximising their talents and potential. She has demonstrated creative and inspiring leadership over a sustained period and led the way in educational innovation in a number of areas.
