

Information Technology
The Information Technology curriculum engages students in a variety of learning activities that involve practical computer based work in either groups or individually.
Through the study of Information Technology students will develop:
A systematic and creative approach to generating technological solutions, particularly in transforming data into information by applying a range of techniques and using equipment and procedures designed to gather, organise, store, retrieve, generate and communicate information
Skills in analysis and interpretation of information including an understanding of the nature, uses and misuses of information and the reliability of that information
An understanding of the role of information in society
A sense of self-confidence and self-sufficiency in dealing with technology.
