The students who come here are not only lucky to enjoy our excellent facilities and outstanding teachers, but while they are here they will develop great self-esteem, confidence and resilience.

Our strong values underpin everything we do – Values of Achievement, Responsibility, Respect, Resilience and Care and Empathy.

The students who graduate from us are remarkable young people who take these values into the world and make a difference. We know that not everyone will be or wants to be a doctor or lawyer. Whatever path our students choose, we know that, if they’re a Knox student, they will be the best they can possibly be and we, and you, will be immensely proud of them.

There are approximately 620 students (boys and girls) across the entire School from Pre Prep to Year 12.

All class sizes from Prep to Year 12 are capped at 24 students.

Early enrolment is always recommended as it can be difficult to foresee what the demand for a particular year level will be. Some areas such as the Pre Prep and Prep year levels are restricted in the numbers they can take and therefore fill up very quickly. The demand for students entering the school at Year 7 has also grown rapidly with full intakes in the past few years.

An Application for Enrolment form can be downloaded from the website or obtained from the Registrar. The Application for Enrolment form should be completed and signed by both parents and returned to the school complete with a copy of the child’s birth certificate and the $110 enrolment application fee (inc GST). For children born outside of Australia and who are not Australian Citizens, the school will require a copy of the child’s passport and Visa. A separate enrolment form must be completed for each child. Early enrolment (at least 18 months prior to entry) should safely secure a place at the required year level.

Yes. The demand for some year levels necessitates the need for children to be waitlisted. To avoid being placed on a waiting list early enrolment is highly recommended (at least one year prior to entry).

No. There is no Saturday sport at The Knox School. We like our students to spend time with their family on weekends and be able to join a sporting club, learn music or enjoy a leisure activity of their own choice.

Of course! We are proud of our School and would love to show it to you.
We invite you and your children to enjoy a School Tour. There are several tours throughout the year. These tours are an opportunity to see our facilities and our classrooms in action and to talk with the Principal, Mr Allan Shaw or the relevant Head of School about the School’s programs and offerings. We also offer one-on-one School Tours on request. Click here to find out more about our School Tours

Yes! Our ‘Spend a Day’ program is open to students who are considering entering Year 1 to Year 12 at The Knox School. All visiting students are given one or two buddies for the day to help them fit in. Visiting students are immersed in a Knox day, attending classes, going to assemblies, events or even the canteen for lunch, just as if they were one of ours.* Click here to find out more about Spending a Day at The Knox School.
