Our excellent VCE and other academic results reflect a school rich in personal attention.

Continuous online reporting from Years 7-12 allows timely feedback on your child's progress and allows the teacher, parent and student to identify, intervene and improve.

We are a small, supportive and nurturing community. Your child will be well cared for. Our staff prides itself on knowing and caring for all members of each child's family.

Every child and their family is known personally by the Principal and teaching staff.

Our doors are always open for you to chat about your child (or anything else for that matter.)

Your child's social and emotional wellbeing are just as important to us as their academic outcome.

Our small class size policy carries right through the entire School.

Our Year 7 transition centre is specially designed to ease students into secondary school life.

Our Year 8/9 centre caters to the important needs of the adolescent years with an emphasis on health and wellbeing.

Our excellent facilities are available to all students.

We do not have compulsory Saturday sport.

A free homework club supervised by our teaching staff is available four afternoons a week until 5.30.

Our specialist classes are staffed by experts in their field, not just a staff member who happens to be available.

The unique and popular music program from Prep to Year 2 teams a percussion specialist with a classroom teacher to develop rhythmic perception and an understanding of music and movement.

Each child from Year 3 to Year 7 receives free music tuition on a rotation of orchestral instruments with opportunities to become part of our musical ensembles.

Each year level from Pre-Prep to Year 6 holds an annual musical production with a role for every student.

Students from Year 7 and above can take part in our biennial musical production or Rock Eisteddfod.

Leadership positions are available to students in Year 4, 7, 9 and 11/12.

Junior Students can take advantage of a variety of lunchtime clubs and activities such as dance, choir, art, calligraphy and public speaking.

We have a full time registered nurse, counsellor and careers counsellor on staff to assist students and their families.

The Knox School is only 500 metres from the EastLink freeway, making us easily reachable from Melbourne's southern and eastern suburbs.

Our teachers believe that learning should be fun.

We are an ISO-9001 accredited institution.
