The Knox School is a private, non-denominational, co-educational school, for students from Pre Prep to Year 12. The School's excellent sporting and educational facilities are available for hire to the wider community for sporting and social events.

The all-weather synthetic hockey field adjoining a fully equipped Pavilion was completed in 1998 with a brand new surface laid in 2010. This facility is managed by a Management Committee which may be contacted via The Knox School. In 1999 The Knox School's state of the art Sports Centre was officially opened. This facility houses two full size basketball courts, weights room and conference/classrooms.

Other facilities available include fully equipped computer laboratories, a 400 seat Auditorium with AV facilities, Dance and Music Rooms and general classrooms.

KNOX COMMUNITY SPORTS FIELD

In 1997, Knox City Council in partnership with The Knox School completed construction of the Knox Community Sports Field.

The Knox Community Sports Field facilities include:

• One senior size synthetic grass hockey field known as The Wallace H. Tew M.B.E Field
• Competition standard lighting
• A Pavilion incorporating change and meeting rooms, toilets and storage facilities
• A fully equipped second storey function room which can seat 150 people subject to the hirer ensuring that they comply with all food, liquor and planning permits

THE LARGELY B.E.R. FUNDED Year 5-6 LEARNING CENTRE
AND MULTI-PURPOSE AREA

As a result of the Building Education Revolution, we are offering for hire a multi-purpose area for community use.

This area on the top floor of our administration building is well-lit, carpeted and heated. Prior inspection is recommended.

Auditorium † $150 per hour plus GST Gallery Open Area † $35 per hour plus GST Games Hall† $35 per hour per court plus GST BER Multi-Purpose Area †† Available Monday to Friday 5-8pm. Weekends on request noting a premium on price to cover cleaning and security. $35 per hour plus GST

Additional security charges apply

* These prices are as advised by the Management Committee responsible for the management of the Pavilion and Hockey Field facility.

† Minimum standard booking time is 4 hours including bump-in and bump-out time. This can be negotiated.

†† Minimum booking is 3 hours.

Security is required for all events held at the facility and is an extra charge per hour. This ensures that all functions are conducted in a safe manner and offers protection for the user groups and the facility. The cost of security is confirmed at the time of booking.
