Dulcie Flinn Memorial Scholarship

The Dulcie Flinn Memorial Scholarship is awarded annually and is for the duration of the student's stay in the Junior School. The scholarship generates fifty per cent of tuition fees and is awarded to a student whose parents, for whatever good reason, suffer a change in financial circumstances, whereby they can no longer afford tuition fees after the student had either enrolled or commenced classes at The Knox School. A confidential Financial Details Declaration will be required to support the application for this scholarship. Dulcie Flinn was the Foundation Principal of The Knox School.

Junior School Scholarship - 2010 entry

This scholarship is for new students entering the Junior School in 2010.

The Knox School invites girls and boys to apply for a scholarship for Year 2, Year 3 and Year 4 entry in 2010. These Scholarships are not academically based and will be awarded by the Principal on an interview basis. This scholarship will generate fifty per cent of tuition fees and is tenable until the end of Year 6.

Applications should be in writing including a letter from the child stating why they would like to study at The Knox School. If an applicant is too young to write, we would love a drawing from them of their choice.

Academic Entrance Scholarships  - 2010 entry

Three Academic Entrance Scholarships for students who will enter either Year 5, 6 or 7 in 2010 will be awarded. These scholarships will generate fifty per cent of tuition fees and are tenable for all remaining years at The Knox School.

General Excellence Scholarships - 2010 entry

The General Excellence Scholarships are for two students entering the Senior College at Years 10, 11 or 12 only. The scholarship will be awarded on the basis of demonstrated academic excellence, preferably in the Edutest scholarship examination, together with testimonials to demonstrate other "excellences" in either sport, the performing arts or some form of community service. This scholarship generates fifty per cent of tuition fees and is tenable for the remaining years at The Knox School.

Music Scholarship

The Music Scholarship will be awarded to a student who can demonstrate exceptional achievement in Music as well as a commitment to music performance and who can demonstrate a similar commitment to achieving individual excellence in academic studies. This scholarship, which generates fifty per cent of tuition fees, will be awarded to a student who is keen to further their music studies and performance at The Knox School.

Applicants should be Year 3 and above.
Applicants must present two contrasting pieces
Applicants must be enrolled in a course of music study at the Knox School (core, elective or VCE) in 2010 from which they may not withdraw
It is preferred that the recipient be studying with a music tutor from The Knox School after the audition process is completed
Shortlisted applicants will be interviewed by The Principal before an award is made
