Welcome to the JSHAA Victorian Branch Web Page.
The Victorian Branch of the JSHAA (Junior School Heads’ Association of Australia) consists over one hundred members from Independent schools across Victoria, including single sex, co-educational, denominational, non-denominational, metropolitan and rural schools.
Many of our
members' Junior Schools are part of a K-12 structure, while some are stand
alone Primary Schools. Being ‘independent’ of any other system means we can
feel isolated in our busy and often demanding role as a Head of a Junior
School, so membership of the JSHAA allows us to share the joys and challenges
of our responsibilities as leaders, as well as the benefits that arise from
the professionalism and collegiality generously extended by members.
The culture of the Victorian Branch of the JSHAA is one of
professionalism, learning, sharing, support and friendship. We are proud of
our schools and endeavour to seek new ways of providing our students with the
best possible educational experiences available. Each of our schools are
assisted in achieving this through the Heads’ membership of the JSHAA and all
it offers.
Please enjoy your journey through the various pages of the JSHAA website and please do not hesitate to contact us should you wish to explore the benefits of being a member of the JSHAA further.
