The Middle School fosters an active and diverse group of young people from Year 5 to Year 9 - recognition of the fact that many students suffer an academic decline as a result of the transition from traditional primary to secondary schooling.

 

At The Knox School, our Middle School divides into two important
sub-schools:

 

Lower Middle School comprising Years 5 to 7 and

Upper Middle School with Years 8 and 9.

 

The Middle School allows students to enter the Senior College with confidence in the uniqueness of self, in their talents and with their relationships.

 

At this important stage in their schooling, students have developed an independence and belief in the dream of what they can achieve.
