One family - two champions!

Congratulations to Huw and Fraser Ohlson - both about to represent Victoria in their Ice Hockey Teams: Huw in the Under 15s and Fraser in the Under 13s - and it's not the first time for either of them. Fraser is also about to represent Victoria in the Inaugural National Little League Baseball Championships. Good luck to both of you.

Equestrian Success

The Knox School Equestrian Team competed at the Victorian Equestrian Centre Interschool Dressage Challenge on Monday 12 May. Our School was well represented with 5 riders. The team placed 3rd overall, which was a fantastic effort.

Summer uniform is compulsory to Anzac Day, Friday 25 April 2008. Summer or Winter uniform may be worn from Monday 28 April through to Friday 6 June 2008. Winter uniform is compulsory following Queens Birthday long weekend, from Tuesday 10 June 2008 through to the end of Term 3, 19 September 2008.

Congratulations to Kate Laidlaw of Year 6 who made it through to the State Swimming Championships to be held at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre on April 21. Kate will compete for The Knox School in the 50m freestyle and 50m backstroke events. We wish her the best of luck!
Traffic congestion

Due to unprecedented traffic congestion on a Tuesday afternoon we ask that parents who are collecting students from Middle School or Senior College do not do so from the top car park. We ask that you proceed to the rear of the School, and park on the gravel car park adjacent to the Sports Centre. Thank you for your cooperation. Suzanne McChesney, Principal.

The Knox School would like to congratulate our VCE students on their outstanding results! The median study score was 33 and 22% of our students received an ENTER score over 90. Well done to all of our students for achieving their very best and a special congratulations to our Dux, Suren Srikanthan. Tournament of Minds Success!

This year 7 teams entered the Tournament of Minds reaching the State Finals. All 7 teams took out honours, and 3 of those teams went forward to the State Finals on 9 September where 2 teams placed second. Well done on an outstanding effort.
Illegal parking at the School
