The Pengana Voices - now on CD
We are immensely proud of The Pengana Voices.
This all-girl choir has just recorded their first CD and they are extremely excited. It is now available from reception.
The Pengana Voices were named after the Falcon which is the symbol of The Knox School and the greater Knox area. The falcon is known for being swift, bold, courageous and decisive. They are admired for their capacity to care for their young. The choir is made up of 15-20 girls from Years 7 to 12 who perform regularly at School functions as well as by invitation in the wider community. In 2007, the Pengana Voices participated in an international music festival in Rotorua, New Zealand from which they received a Gold Medal.
In 2010 they will be once again be travelling across the Tasman to compete.
Their CD is on sale for $20 and all proceeds will help get the girls up and away. Order yours today.
