This game is called Up or Down and is completely based on decisions. Your fate in this game will be decided on whether you boost yourself or take down your opponent.
Two options will be granted at each turn depending on the respective playing card that you have picked up, and these may be good or bad. This is a simple game to play however it challenges your thinking with the multiple options. So, will you choose Up or Down? It’s a game of Robbers and Hunters.
Robbers: Steal as much gold as possible and get it to the safe zone. Get as much gold as possible to the safe zone to get points. All gold not taken by the robbers at the end of the round will go to the hunter’s points. If the hunter catches you, you lose all your gold and will respawn next round.
Hunter: Try and capture the robbers. Stop them from getting gold and escaping with it. All gold not taken by the robbers at the end of the round will go towards the hunter’s points. Do you know the story of the Tortoise and the Hare?
The speedy hare teased the tortoise for his slow pace and the tortoise challenged the hare to a race. The tortoise kept a slow and steady pace and kept moving forward while the hare raced past the tortoise. The hare was so far ahead he decided to take a rest and then fell asleep. The tortoise then passed the hare who only woke up and realised he was being beaten when it was too late to catch up.
This game will decide if ‘slow and steady’ really does win the race.
This is a race Game that can be played by 2 or more players. It is suitable for the whole family, but younger players may need assistance.
