For students in Year 10, 11 and 12, The Knox School’s Counsellor provides professional and confidential counselling on a wide range of matters. Our Counsellor is a qualified psychologist with a great deal of experience working with young people and their families. Any student or parent may make an appointment to see the Counsellor or a student may be referred by a teacher. Typical topics students, parents and teachers raise relate to student friendships and family issues, learning and memory issues, behaviour problems and loneliness or homesickness.
As a Psychologist, the Counsellor can also provide comprehensive educational assessments including IQ and ability testing.
