Spring Concert: A Celebration of Music and Community
Our annual Spring Concert was a vibrant celebration of the musical talent, creativity and dedication of our intermediate and senior ensembles. The evening shone a spotlight on our consummate music students, each delivering memorable performances that highlighted the depth and breadth of our Music program.
A performance highlight was the Percussion Ensemble, led by an arrangement from our Music Prefect, Andres de Souza, who captivated the audience with a dynamic version of Take Five. The Senior Choir also impressed with their expressive performance of Warri and Yatungka.
There was an extraordinary display of strings talent across the year levels through the performances of Cellobration, the Senior Guitar Ensemble, Corelli Strings and Volante Strings, each demonstrating both precision and artistry. The energy and flair of our bands including Funk Band, Stage Band, Big Band and Senior Concert Band rounded out the evening with a series of rousing performances that had the audience enthralled.
A special moment of the night was the presentation of the Music Awards to our Year 12 Music students, recognising their outstanding service, leadership and commitment. Their contributions have left a lasting impact on the program, and we wish them every success as they embark on the next stage of their journey.
