Public Transport

Number 732 Bus

The Number 732 bus from Knox City typically stops outside the School at a variety of times during the day. It is easy to plan your travel via the PTV Website, and you may like to:

Driving

Situated on Burwood Highway and very close to Eastlink, The Knox School is easy to get to by car.

Internal Driveway

The internal driveway has a divided lane between the entrance at Burwood Highway and the Visitor Car Park. Cars bound for the Kiss and Drop Area, or seeking to drive elsewhere through the School, are asked to position themselves in the left lane. Cars bound for the car park are asked to position themselves in the right lane upon entry.

Kiss and Drop

The Kiss and Drop car parks are marked in yellow and are available for parents to drop children off with a 2 minute wait period. Drop off zones are available at the Burwood Highway entrance near Junior School and at our Roundabout turning circle at Senior School (near the Gazebo). Roundabout

The roundabout at the Gazebo provides another drop off opportunity for parents. Exit from this roundabout is via Merryn Grove.

Reception Car Park

Road arrows are marked at the Reception Car Park to indicate a left turn only expectation for vehicles seeking to use this car park. Cars having entered from Burwood Highway and intending to use the Reception car park are required to exit via College Close. Similarly, cars entering from College Close will not be able to access the Reception car park.

Walking and Cycling

Walking improves your health, strengthens community connections, and better yet – it saves you money!

You may like to consider walking or cycling to school. Over 1200 kilometres of footpaths weave through the City of Knox and the local council maintains them so your walks are safe and enjoyable.
