2026 Prefect Leadership Development Day

On Thursday, 24 October, our newly appointed 2026 Prefects and Captains came together at Waterman Caribbean Park for a full-day Leadership Development Day. Meeting in a professional boardroom setting, students were encouraged to step into their new roles with confidence, purpose and collaboration. 

Throughout the day, the group explored their individual leadership styles, set shared expectations for the year ahead and took part in team-bonding activities that strengthened trust and communication. They also began planning for key school events they will lead in 2026, gaining insight into the preparation and teamwork behind successful whole-school initiatives. 

The experience was an invaluable opportunity for students to connect, establish a collective vision and set the tone for what promises to be a fantastic year ahead. By encouraging student agency and recognising the unique strengths each leader brings, the day inspired our Prefects and Captains to grow and flourish.  

We can’t wait to see their ideas come to life in the year ahead. 2026 is already shaping up to be something special!
