On Friday 29 May, members of the TKS Falcon Squad had the exciting opportunity to visit the St Kilda Football Club at RSEA Park in Moorabbin to participate in a Mental Fitness workshop.

The workshop, delivered in partnership with the Danny Frawley Centre for Health and Wellbeing, explored the practices and processes that underpin elite sporting teams and high-performance environments. Students gained valuable insights into the importance of mental fitness and how developing positive habits, resilience, and self-awareness can enhance performance both on and off the field.

Throughout the session, students learned practical strategies used by elite athletes to manage challenges, maintain focus, and support their overall wellbeing. The workshop encouraged participants to reflect on their own mental fitness and provided tools to help them thrive in sport, school, and everyday life.

The visit was a fantastic learning experience, offering students a unique glimpse into the mindset and culture of a professional AFL club while reinforcing the importance of looking after their mental health and wellbeing.

We thank the St Kilda Football Club and the Danny Frawley Centre for Health and Wellbeing for providing such an engaging and informative experience for our Falcon Squad students.
