This week, our Year 12 students completed the General Achievement Test (GAT), alongside our Year 11 students who are undertaking an accelerated Unit 3/4 subject.
The GAT is a significant milestone for VCE students, marking the beginning of their official VCE examination period. It is an important step in their senior secondary education journey and an opportunity to demonstrate the broad skills and knowledge they have developed throughout their studies.
To celebrate the occasion and recognise the hard work and dedication of our students, a special BBQ was held during the break between Sessions 1 and 2. Students enjoyed the opportunity to relax, socialise with their peers and refuel before heading back to complete the second session of the day.
We would also like to thank the students and staff whose classes and learning spaces were impacted by the GAT arrangements. The flexibility, patience and cooperation with the temporary room changes helped ensure the day ran smoothly and successfully.
We are incredibly proud of the positive attitude and resilience shown by our students as they continue to work towards their VCE goals. We wish them all the very best for the remainder of the year and the exciting milestones still to come.
