Félicitations to our Year 5 French students, who have been awarded Third Place in Victoria in the Association of French Teachers Victoria’s Chantons Ensemble competition.
During Term 3, students took part in Chantons Ensemble (“Let’s Sing Together”), an opportunity to put their French language skills into practice through music, movement and performance.
With the guidance and support of their French teacher, Ms Markantonatos, the students diligently rehearsed Je Suis là Pour Toi (“I Am There for You”), learning actions and dance moves to complement their singing and bring their performance to life.
The competition provided a wonderful opportunity for students to build their confidence in French while combining language learning with creativity, collaboration and performance.
To be recognised with Third Place across Victoria is a fantastic achievement and a wonderful reward for the commitment the students brought to their rehearsals and performance.
