Recipe Testing in Full Swing for 'A Taste of Knox'
On Monday afternoon, the Taste of Knox team, a group of enthusiastic Year 9 to 11 students stayed back after school for a hands-on recipe testing session. Under the guidance of Food Studies teacher Ms Emer Fox, students worked together in the kitchen to trial and refine the recipes that will feature in their upcoming community cookbook.
Each dish was carefully prepared, tasted, and tweaked to perfect flavour, presentation and practicality. From adjusting seasoning to refining cooking times, students made sure every recipe was achievable and delicious for home cooks.
The session also brought students from different year levels together, creating a strong sense of teamwork and connection, the same spirit captured throughout the cookbook. The Taste of Knox team is now working tirelessly to have the book ready in time for the Twilight Festival, where it will make its much-anticipated debut. Make sure you pick up a copy!
