Each year, The Knox School community gathers to honour Anzac Day, paying tribute to the valiant individuals who served our nation. This year’s ceremony, held beneath our campus flagpoles, was led by Senior School prefects. They highlighted the day’s significance, shared soldiers’ letters and poems and brought history to life.

The wreath-laying by our Senior School students on campus and our Junior School Captains at the local Anzac Day service were heartfelt acts of respect. Together, we observed a solemn moment of silence, followed by the raising of all flags, unifying our community in remembrance and gratitude.

The event was a poignant reminder of sacrifice and the enduring values of courage and mateship, ensuring the ANZAC legacy thrives in the hearts of future generations.

Thanks to your valuable contributions and purchases of Anzac Day badges, our Reception Team is delighted to report that $850.00 has been raised in support of our veterans and their families. We were delighted to welcome the President of the Upwey and Belgrave RSL, Frank Schmager, to The Knox School on Thursday 1 May 2025 who shared special thanks with our entire community for our shared achievement!
