On Monday 23 March, our Prep students enjoyed their very first incursion, welcoming Wild Action Zoo into the classroom for an exciting hands-on learning experience. Across the sessions, students met and engaged with a range of native Australian animals, with many even having the opportunity to safely hold and interact with them. This memorable experience allowed students to explore different animal features, habitats, and diets in a highly engaging way.

The incursion strongly supported our Science learning, helping students deepen their understanding of living things, their basic needs and how they grow and change. It was a wonderful opportunity for students to connect their classroom learning to real-life experiences, sparking curiosity and excitement about the natural world.
