
The Da Vinci Decathlon is a highly regarded academic competition that challenges students to think critically, creatively, and collaboratively across a wide range of disciplines. Teams work together to solve complex problems in areas such as Mathematics, Science, English, Engineering, Code Breaking, Art and Poetry, and more. The competition provides students with an opportunity to extend their learning beyond the classroom and apply their knowledge in new and demanding contexts.
This year, our students across both Junior and Senior School took part in the event, demonstrating outstanding teamwork, perseverance, and intellectual curiosity.
Year 5 Success at Korowa Anglican Girls’ School
As part of the expanded enrichment opportunities offered across Years 3 to 6, a team of Year 5 students competed in the Da Vinci Decathlon held at Korowa Anglican Girls’ School.
After weeks of preparation and practice, the students approached the challenge with enthusiasm, resilience, and strong collaboration skills. They performed exceptionally well across all areas of the competition, achieving outstanding results:
1st Place – Science
1st Equal – Code Breaking
2nd Place – Mathematics and Legacy
3rd Place – Creative Art and Poetry
These results culminated in an incredible 2nd Place Overall. Congratulations to Harper, Eva, Isaac, Uday, Charlie, Piya, Pranavan, Jenson, and Ian on their outstanding efforts and teamwork throughout this enriching experience.

Our Year 9 students competed in the Senior School Da Vinci Decathlon hosted at Penleigh and Essendon Grammar School.
