ELC Art Show & Playground Opening
On Wednesday 10 September our Early Learning Centre was filled with colour, laughter and pride as students welcomed their families to the ELC Art Show and Playground Opening.
The afternoon began with a gallery-style showcase of artworks created by our youngest learners. Each piece reflected not only the children’s growing skills but also their imagination and individuality. Parents and guardians were invited into the classrooms to view the masterpieces, and the excitement on the students’ faces as they explained their creations was a reminder of the joy and confidence that comes from sharing learning with loved ones.
Following the exhibition, families gathered outside for the official opening of the new ELC playground. With a ribbon-cutting ceremony and plenty of anticipation, students eagerly introduced their families to the exciting new space designed to encourage play, exploration and collaboration. Their sense of pride was evident as they raced to climb, slide and explore, showing their parents every corner of the playground with infectious enthusiasm.
In a heartfelt gesture, the children presented Ms Cimino with a signed card, thanking her for her support of the Art Show and their learning journeys. The afternoon concluded with students moving between their indoor art displays and outdoor adventures, parents joining in both celebrations of creativity and play.
This special event captured the spirit of the ELC: a community where curiosity, creativity, and connection are nurtured every day. It was a wholesome and joyful occasion, reminding us that learning is most powerful when it is shared with family and celebrated together.
