We were thrilled to host the much-anticipated 2025 Year 12 Formal on Friday 21 February 2025. This event is always a highlight of the year and this year’s celebration was no exception. The evening was filled with laughter, joy and a sense of accomplishment as our Year 12 students gathered together to mark the beginning of the end of their Senior School journey.
The evening kicked off with a warm welcome from our Head of VCE & Senior Students (Years 11 & 12), Tracey Blunden, who encouraged students to enjoy the moment, reminding us all of the significance of this celebration. Her words set the tone for the night, reminding the students to take a step back and appreciate everything they had worked for over the years.
Between boogies on the dance floor, many of our student leaders also took the opportunity to address their peers, sharing heartfelt speeches that celebrated their journey through Senior School and the bonds they have formed along the way. Their words were inspiring and filled with gratitude for the support they received from teachers, families and friends throughout their school years.
One of the standout moments of the evening came from the venue staff, who commented on how outstanding our young people are. They were impressed with how our students conducted themselves throughout the evening, embodying the values of respect, maturity, and pride. The staff expressed how proud they were of the students, and this sentiment was echoed by everyone who attended the event.
A huge thank you goes out to the many students, families and staff who worked tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure the success of the event. Without your support, this night wouldn’t have been the memorable occasion it was. It was an evening of celebration, reflection and excitement for the future. Our Year 12 students truly shone and it was a night to remember for all involved. Congratulations to the Class of 2025!
