On a beautiful March evening, we gathered together on The Knox School campus, nestled between the Auditorium and our Library Centre, to enjoy an evening of social and informative conversation with our community. Every student plays an essential role in our vibrant community of learners and the experience of being in Years 8 to 10 is just as valuable as any other stage of the school journey. This message was at the heart of the welcome address delivered by our Principal and Chief Executive, Nikki Kirkup, as she addressed families and staff for the Years 8 to 10 Welcome Evening on Thursday 6 March 2025.
We also heard from our Head of Students (Years 7 to 10), Christian Stuckey, who took the opportunity to introduce key people involved with guiding our students on their learning journeys of knowledge, skills and character. Our Associate Principal: Head of Senior School, Janelle Mathias, was introduced and our Deputy Head of Senior School, Emma Kenny, made a flying visit on the way to a student debating event. We also heard from our Head of Academics (Years 7 to 10), Alison Crawford, who spoke to how the students were engaging with both the opportunities across the curriculum and their many Mentors.
