This is the question that was posed to our Junior School Captains, Maya and Adam, when they attended the prestigious ‘Dream and Lead’ Leadership Conference at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre in March 2025. This dynamic event is designed to ignite the leadership potential of Junior School students, helping them unlock their capabilities and establish strong foundations for future success.
Throughout the conference, Maya and Adam participated in a series of engaging activities focused on problem-solving, confidence-building, and teamwork. These sessions were led by internationally trained young leaders, providing valuable insights and strategies that are sure to enhance their leadership skills.
The primary goal of attending the conference was to evaluate our current leadership program and explore new ideas and initiatives available to young leaders in Melbourne. It was an opportunity to gather inspiration, reflect on our existing practices and identify ways to further elevate our leadership offerings. All students in attendance were invited to reflect on the following quote:

So, what’s next? We’re excited to share that Maya and Adam will now take the lead in bringing their fresh ideas and perspectives to the table. They will be meeting with key staff to discuss the feedback from the conference and implement any necessary changes or adjustments to the Year 6 leadership program for 2026.
