Jazz Night at the Count's - A Showcase of Student Talent
On Friday 15 September, our talented student musicians took to the stage at The Count’s, Monash University’s renowned jazz venue, for an unforgettable Jazz Night.
Guests enjoyed a relaxed and elegant evening, dining while watching the performances, which added to the vibrant and professional atmosphere of the event.
The night featured dynamic sets from Big Band, Stage Band, and TKS Funk Band, each bringing their unique sound and energy to the stage. The students performed with confidence and flair, impressing the audience with their musicality and stage presence.
A highlight of the evening was the incredible solo performances by Avina Adeli, Riley Chandra, Hudson McDowell, Eric Li, Arien Manuel, Andres de Souza, Rafael de Souza, Cooper Gration, and Kenny Chen. Each soloist brought their own style and expression, adding depth and excitement to the program.
The concert also featured a special original composition by Oak Tysoe, performed with Ron Weerasekara. Their piece was a beautiful example of student creativity and collaboration, and a standout moment in the evening.
Congratulations to all performers for making Jazz Night such a memorable celebration of music. We are incredibly proud of the talent, dedication, and teamwork shown by our students.
