
On Wednesday 17 June, our Year 4 students proudly hosted their Parent Showcase, celebrating their learning throughout this term’s Media Inquiry unit. Working collaboratively in groups, students designed and branded their own cereal products, carefully considering how media and advertising influence audiences. Families explored a range of creative displays, including cereal box designs, marketing materials and engaging advertisements produced by the students using green screen technology.
Throughout the showcase, students confidently shared their understanding of branding, persuasive techniques and audience engagement, explaining the decisions behind their designs and advertising campaigns. It was a wonderful opportunity for parents to experience the creativity, collaboration and critical thinking that have been at the heart of this exciting unit.
