As we celebrate National Volunteer Week and this year’s theme, Your Year to Volunteer, we are proud to recognise and thank our outstanding Student Ambassadors for the time, energy, and enthusiasm they generously give to our school community.
The 2026 theme encourages all Australians to recognise the value of volunteering and highlights how meaningful involvement can create connection, purpose, and lasting positive change. It is also an opportunity to thank those who already give their time so generously, something our Student Ambassadors do so wonderfully at TKS.
Throughout the many events, including school tours held this year, our student ambassadors have represented TKS with warmth, confidence, and genuine care. From welcoming families to campus and answering questions to sharing authentic insights into school life, they play an important role in helping families feel informed, comfortable, and connected from the moment they arrive.
Volunteering in this way takes initiative, courage, and commitment. Our student ambassadors regularly step outside their comfort zones to meet new people, think on their feet, and represent their peers with maturity and authenticity. They do so with calm confidence and natural friendliness, helping make every tour a positive and memorable experience.
We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all TKS students and families for the many ways they contribute to our school community each and every day – some seen, and some quietly taking place behind the scenes. Whether through acts of kindness, volunteering, leadership, encouragement, participation, or simply supporting one another, these everyday contributions help shape the positive and connected culture we value so highly at TKS.
We are incredibly proud of our students and deeply grateful for the care, character, generosity, and community spirit shown by both our students and families throughout the year.
