How Did Paterson House Make Waves to Become the 2025 House Swimming Champion?
On Friday 7 February 2025, our Years 5 and 6 students gathered for an exciting and action-packed day at the House Swimming Carnival, held at the Harold Holt Swim Centre in Glen Iris. The event was a resounding success, featuring a wide range of events, from individual races to thrilling relays and fun novelty races. Students competed with enthusiasm and spirit, making it a memorable occasion for all involved.
The competition was fierce, but only one House could emerge as the 2025 House Swimming Champion! Congratulations to Paterson House for their outstanding performance and well-earned victory. It seems there must be mermaids among them, as Paterson not only secured the Junior School title but also dominated the Senior School House Swimming Cup this year! What an incredible, all-around achievement!
We also want to extend a huge congratulations to all the students who participated and showed tremendous effort throughout the day. A special mention goes to those who have qualified to represent TKS at the upcoming district swimming competition later this month. Best of luck to all of you!
A special mention must go to the Senior School House Captains and Prefects, whose support and encouragement were invaluable throughout the day. Their assistance in organising the events and cheering on our Junior School participants helped create an uplifting and energetic atmosphere that fueled the excitement of the day.
The House Swimming Carnival was not just about racing but about teamwork, effort and personal achievement. It was a day filled with fun, sportsmanship and lasting memories for everyone involved. Well done to all!
