At The Knox School, we continue our commitment to nurturing the leaders of tomorrow by empowering our students to embrace meaningful roles of responsibility. This philosophy remains central to our educational approach, grounded in the pillars of Knowledge, Skills, and Character. These guiding values inspire our students to lead with purpose, integrity, and compassion, making a positive and lasting contribution to the TKS community.

On Monday 16 February 2026, we proudly celebrated the Year 6 Leadership Induction Assembly, a highlight of the academic year and a significant milestone for our Junior School. The occasion recognised the outstanding efforts, resilience, and leadership potential demonstrated by our students throughout a rigorous and thoughtful selection process.

Our 2026 Junior School Captains stood proudly in front of their peers and shared these inspirational words:

We, the School Captains believe this day is not only about congratulating the successful Captains but realising that everyone in Year 6 is a leader and has the potential to lead with courage and make a positive difference. We hope that everyone in this room, no matter how big or how small, will approach each day with enthusiasm and interest. Like opening a door, don’t be frightened to reach out, grab the door handle, turn it, open it and take on a new challenge. We will help you find that door and face your fears so you can grow.

~ Kanusha & Thaman

The assembly was a memorable and inspiring event. Each newly appointed Student Leader was formally acknowledged and presented with their official school badge, symbolising both achievement and responsibility. These students have consistently exemplified the values of TKS, and as they step into their leadership roles, they are poised to play an important part in shaping and strengthening our vibrant school community throughout 2026.
