The Constellation Series: Excitement Builds for 2026
The momentum continues to grow for the Year 10 Constellation Series in 2026, following an inspiring online information evening held on Tuesday 8 October. Families, staff and students came together to learn more about this new and transformative program, designed to empower students with greater agency, purpose and connection through real-world learning.
The Constellation Series will see every Year 10 student take part in one of four unique learning journeys: Cambodia, Singapore, Budj Bim or Melbourne, each offering opportunities to explore global citizenship, service, innovation and leadership.
As part of the session, staff shared details about the academic and personal growth students can expect, highlighting how the series blends curriculum outcomes with authentic, hands-on experiences. Drawing on The Knox School’s established Knoxpeditions framework, the program challenges students to design and deliver real solutions for real clients, while deepening cultural and social understanding.
Families heard from a program partner and TKS educators who outlined what makes this initiative truly distinctive. Students will collaborate with experts, work in teams, and take ownership of their learning, developing creativity, problem-solving and resilience along the way. There will be an opportunity to acquire credentials. Each journey is underpinned by the same purpose: to help students make meaningful contributions to the world around them while exploring pathways for life beyond school.
The excitement is already building as students have undertaken the application process to consider which journey will best reflect their interests and aspirations. Whether supporting community development in Cambodia, exploring sustainable design at Budj Bim, engaging with health and technology experts in Singapore at Republic Polytechnic, or connecting with Melbourne’s innovation networks, each experience will help shape confident, capable and compassionate young leaders.
As preparations continue throughout Term 1 next year, the Constellation Series stands as a bold reflection of The Knox School’s commitment to learning that is connected, authentic and future focused.
