We are delighted to announce the appointment of Nathan Bower as our new Senior Head of Sports Strategy, Programs & Pathways. This newly created role marks a significant step forward in further enhancing The Knox School’s sporting and program pathways.

In his role, Nathan will be responsible for developing and implementing the TKS Sports Strategy, following the insights and recommendations from our 2024 Sports Department Review conducted by Paddy McKenna Consulting.

Nathan brings a wealth of experience, joining us from Camberwell Grammar School where he served as Senior Head of Sports Strategy and Programs. His background also includes pivotal roles as Executive Officer at Eastern Independent Schools of Melbourne (EISM) Sporting Association and with major organisations such as Cricket Australia, AFL SportsReady, and X-Seed Education. Nathan is also a former player for Richmond Football Club and has extensive involvement in community sport, including roles as Club President and Coach at Glen Waverley Rovers FC and School Council President at Jells Park Primary.

Having worked closely with our school community and lived locally, Nathan’s deep appreciation for our culture and his extensive expertise in education, community sport and professional athletics will be invaluable as we continue to grow and develop our sporting futures.

We look forward to the exciting contributions Nathan will bring to The Knox School and our wider community. Welcome aboard, Nathan!
