What an unforgettable day of competition, spirit and sheer teamwork at the Bill Sewart Athletics Track! From the moment the event kicked off, the atmosphere was absolutely buzzing. Every House gave their all, leaving it all on the track with performances that were nothing short of remarkable.
Paterson House stormed to victory, claiming the Overall Winner title at the Senior School House Athletics Day! Their dedication, enthusiasm, and participation across every event truly set them apart. A massive congratulations to all the Paterson House members for their collective effort! Flinders House fought hard and came in second place, displaying incredible athleticism and unwavering team spirit. They were right in the thick of the action, keeping the competition intense and pushing the limits until the very last moment. Chisholm House secured a well-deserved third place, finishing only a handful of points behind Flinders. The race for the podium was extremely tight and Chisholm’s strong showings in both individual events and House Spirit competitions made them a standout. Lawrence House rounded out the competition in fourth place, showing incredible resilience and grit in each event. Their team spirit and determination were truly inspiring, making every race and challenge something to remember.
House Spirit Award goes to Chisholm House! They brought the heat in the continuous race, dominated with their chants and rocked their House colours and costumes with style. Their infectious energy and enthusiasm lit up the day, creating an atmosphere that was all about fun, unity and House pride. What a way to keep the spirit alive! Chisholm narrowly beat Flinders by just 7 points to claim the top spot in the House Spirit Award, making it one of the closest and most exciting moments of the day.
