Celebrating Our Year 12s: A Week to Remember

This week marks a special moment in The Knox School journey: the final week for our Year 12 students. It has been a week filled with celebration, reflection and plenty of laughter as our graduating class came together to enjoy their last days on campus.

The festivities began last Friday evening, with a relaxed movie night in the Year 7 Centre, where students gathered on bean bags to watch Cars 2. They enjoyed snacks, pizza and drinks, and paused to celebrate some 18th birthdays. It was a wonderful way for students to unwind and reconnect after a busy week of practice exams, with Academic Coaches joining in to support and share the fun.

On Monday, the theme was ‘What do you want to be when you grow up?’, a playful nod to the future as students arrived dressed as everything from pilots to paramedics. The creativity continued on Tuesday with ‘Childhood Nostalgia’, where Community Time turned into a fun-filled trivia session, complete with colourful throwbacks to favourite childhood memories.

Wednesday brought the energy outdoors for the annual Colour Run and Water Fight. The Year 11 students took great delight in spraying the Year 12s with bursts of colour, while teachers and staff joined in the fun, creating a vibrant afternoon of joy, laughter and shared memories.

On Thursday, the class of 2025 headed to Chadstone for a day of bowling, arcade games, Hijinx Hotel challenges and mini golf at Holey Moley.

The week concludes today with a parent breakfast, a formal assembly, and the much-anticipated Valedictory Dinner; a fitting celebration of their achievements, friendships and final moments together as The Knox School Class of 2025.

We are so proud of our Year 12 students for their growth and resilience, and the positive impact they’ve made on our School community. As they prepare for life beyond school, our Year 12s take with them the friendships and curiosity that have shaped their time at Knox.
